Our client is a leading Workers Compensation Specialist who has an opening for a Technical Claims Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workers Compensation Case Manager who has 12 months Technical Claims experience. As a Technical Claims Manager you will work along side the team leader and injury management adviser as a technical point of reference for the team as well as providing guidance and assistance to case managers on individual cases. Some of your responsibilities will include - - Provide technical assistance to case managers
- Aid the claims team regarding determining liability
- Work closely with the Claims Manager and IMA to ensure service levels are being adhered to
- Regular involvement in claim reviews
- Identify and assist with the implementation of training
To be considered you will need - - Allied health background is desired but not essential
- Effective communication skills
- In depth knowledge of the workers compensation claims process
- The ability to guide, coach and mentor others
- 12 months experience in a technical role
- Up to date legislation knowledge
