A new role has been developed to assist in working towards fostering & continual improvement of the mission & values at the Mount St Joseph's Home in Randwick, the duties will include the following;
- Recruiting, interviewing, testing and selecting employees
- Developing a pool of casuals
- Co-ordinating and managing the staff roster for the Home
- Ensuring ????? ????? new employee orientation is conducted so as to foster a positive attitude towards the Home's goals
- Employee records management
- Fortnightly payroll using CIM
- Superannuation, sick leave and annual leave administration
- Performance management
- Employee counselling and disciplinary action
- Regular reporting to management on all staffing & OHS issues
- Award interpration
- Conducting workplace negotiations on behalf of the Home
- Identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting staffing
- Conducting exit interviews
- Ensuring ????? ????? Home's EEO and OH&S Policies are adhered to
- Representing the Home at personnel and staffing related hearings & investigations

This is a permanent part time position covering ????? ?????, Wednesday and Thursday one week and Wednesday and Thursday the other week. You would be working 37.5 hrs per fortnight.
Essential Criteria to be considered for this very special role are;
- Several years experience in a Human Resources role carrying out full processes (tertiary qualified)
- Previous experience administering ????? ????? associated tasks
- Proven ability to plan, organise, develop strategy and negotiate effectively
- Sound computer literacy including Word, Excel and Internet
- A genuine care and interest in the well being of the elderly
- A strong desire and commitment to support the Chrisian Values and the mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor
- Desire to work part time hours
- Reside reasonably locally to Randwick
