This has achieved another win for the company through the attainment of the contract for AV Event Staging services to a sought-after boutique venue in the Harbour city. They have a strong sales team in-house and seek an excellent salesperson who can deliver exciting and value-proposition proposals to meet the high enquiry demand.
Reporting to the General Manager off-site, your brief is to engender a genuine partnership with the venue sales team to ensure all enquiries are effectively and efficiently dealt with. You are their in-house expert, to make the event truly sensational and memorable. You will be creative and practical, able to quote the audiovisual requirements and then present, negotiate and close the sale.
You like representing the best and being a leader of team that WILL deliver on your promises. You will need sufficient technical exposure to quote on equipment and crew hours, though you do not need operator capabilities or know-how. You provide tenacious follow up, are highly motivated, an outstanding communicator, credible, well-presented and likable. You know how to deal at the top end of town, and how to have fun.
Salary and benefits are highly negotiable, according to experience and how well you sell – you will be selling yourself first of course.
