Medical Science Liaison - Cardiology - newly created role

    This company are a well known International R & D Pharma company who for many years have been one of the fastest-growing in the pharmaceutical industry.

    It`s exciting times within the organisation with an upcoming significant product launch as well as new PBS registrations on the horizon all within the Cardiology portfolio. Of the back of all this activity and business growth a new position of Medical Science Liaison has been created. These latter projects will fall under your the remit of this role.

    This role will support the strategic direction of the company providing clinical and scientific information to KOLs and other health professionals via scientific exchange/presentations. These exchanges will provide the necessary background for health professionals to make sound clinical decisions in the treatment of patients and allow the medical science liaison to gain a thorough understanding of current treatment management of patients in Australia to thus inform the local business.

    Qualifications:

    We are looking for a Medical/Pharmacy degree or PHD ideally specialising within the field of Cardiology. A proven ability to forge/develop relationships with KOLs and a record in providing/imparting scientific expertise again ideally with the cardiology field. Ability to work in a cross functional environment - health economics/regulatory/sales and marketing.
