A challenging and exciting opportunity is available to participate in the development, implementation and delivery of criminogenic focussed interventions and specialised case management services to incarcerated offenders.
Principal Psychologist
Provide the primary source of expert, professional opinion of the Correctional Centre on the criminogenic risks and needs of individual inmates, including risks of further offending. Conduct and oversee the provision of professional assessments and develop and deliver clinical interventions, individually and in groups, to high risk offenders.
You will supervise, support and maintain a team of clinically skilled and experienced therapists and ensure the provision of effective clinical supervision for specialised staff working directly with offenders. Conduct and oversight the provision of clinical assessments utilising
psychometric instruments.

Responsible to the Manager Prisoner Services, you will be part of the multi disciplinary Prisoner Clinical Services Team that provides clinical and support services to prisoners housed at the Alice Springs Correctional Centre.
