Naiman Clarke currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a large acute care facility located in the heart of the NSW Hunter Region.
This accredited 187 bed facility is a major centre for several medical services including Oncology (Cancer) and at present the Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a highly skilled CNS to undertake the role of the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator.
The purpose of this role is to be part of the team contributing and ensuring ????? ????? of direct and indirect clinical trial related care of patients and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department.
The essential criterion includes:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical trials methodology
- Substantial working experience in a research or clinical environment, including experience in the conduct and co ordination of clinical trials
- Conducting and managing national and international studies
- Managerial experience with excellent negotiation and people management skills
- Writing clinical research protocols and a proven track record in their initiation and completion
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and to work unsupervised
The ideal applicant will have Venipuncture and cannulation skills together with experience in collecting and presenting statistics, data management within an oncology setting, knowledge of statistical methods and experience in statistical analysis.
