My valued client is a lovely private organization that works with corporate and international travel insurance so your customers are policy holders. In case an emergency, accident or natural disaster occurs, your role is to assist your customers/patients in crisis over the phone while the customer/patient is on travel. So you will work on the phone and the computer with a team of a dozen other lovely nurses to provide this vital service.
This role involves making outbound calls to relevant parties such as doctors and land/air ambulance services. As well as receiving incoming calls related to the case. Your duty is to obtain all the information you require for the case and correspond with relevant parties in order to quickly make sure the customer gets the treatment and care required.
Due to the nature of the role you must have the following criteria:
- Five years post graduate experience as a Registered Nurse (preferably in area specified below)
- Recent clinical experience in Acute Care, Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Department
- Excellent typing speed as you will be typing your notes and reports on computer
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- You must be an understanding and compassionate person
- You must be able to do different shifts of 8.5 hrs – early morning, day, afternoon, evening, and night.
