50/50% commission split or small base + scale commission

My client is a well-established traditional stockbroking firm looking to take their business to the next level.

Their entrepreneurial MD seeks individuals/teams to assist in running model portfolios for their HNW client base through direct equities, corporate finance and funds management activity, amongst other strategies.

Under a commission-only arrangement, you will be entitled to 50% of any brokerage written, as well as a clean database of dormant & active clients; any client base/book you can bring ????? ????? course of great interest and benefit.

There would also be an opportunity to take a small base and sliding scale commission rates for the right candidate.
