Developing long term alliances with strategic investors/asset managers and diversifying the funding base from traditional sources is the key to future competitive advantage for this high profile division of an ASX listed group – a leading participant in its asset class. 
 
 
The primary objectives of this position are to: 
 

• Develop long term alliances with strategic investment partners;  
  
• Promote a compelling value proposition to investors/asset managers;  
  
• Establish long term relationships with domestic and offshore funding sources;  
  
• Identify new sources of liquidity in funding markets;  
  
• Develop and execute strategies for origination of funding;  
  
• Structure financial arrangements and negotiate with providers of capital.  
  

  
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate proven relationship development outcomes with financial institutions, asset managers, equity participants, external consultants and legal advisers.   
Other attributes sought include excellent analytical capabilities in evaluating structured finance transactions and competence in identifying risks, opportunities and optimal debt and equity outcomes. 
 
Essential personal attributes required include superior communication and negotiation skills, a highly motivated self starter, outcomes focussed and able to meet deadlines.
