An exciting opportunity has become available for a Transitions Manager – Defined Benefits, within Customer Solutions. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of employer super transitions including complex Defined Benefit transitions with the governance of a short project life cycle.

Specifically, your main responsibilities will be:

• Understanding of the plan design and of the transferring ????? ????? preparing ????? ????? schedule to map the activities required to undertake the transition

• Working closely with Legal to undertake the completion of Equivalent Rights Analysis and preparation of the Benefit Specification Schedule and the Employer Application Form for a Successive Funds Transfer

• Communicating the plan configuration requirements to the Infrastructure developers to aid in plan set up and carry out testing to check for accuracy in plan set up

• Working in collaboration with Product, Finance and the Insurers to carry out the transition

• Communicating with Plan Actuaries, Employers and the Account Manager throughout the transition

• Preparing ????? ????? the send out of significant communication material to members and employers

• Preparing ????? ????? synopsis and hand over to Client Service Consultant post transition

• Stakeholder networking including tying in of all aspects of the transition and taking ownership of the end- to- end transition life cycle.

• Leading and facilitating work groups

To secure this exciting opportunity, you will require the following:

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years experience of working in Defined Benefit Operations
  • Minimum of  5-7 years experience in Superannuation  with exposure to Life Insurance
  • Solid understanding of the SuperB system and Defined Benefit operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to understand the essential needs of Tender Managers (in conjunction with Distribution) and liaise with internal stakeholders
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational, time management, coordination and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritise effectively within a fast paced work environment with tight deadlines
  • Actively look for and participate in process improvement
