Senior Practice Consultant - Macquarie Practice Consulting
Macquarie Adviser Services (MAS), which sits within the Banking & Financial Services Group (BFS) of Macquarie Bank, manages relationships with external financial intermediaries and provides sales, service, product manufacturing ????? ????? of in-house and external products and services. This includes the Macquarie Cash Management Trust, the Macquarie Wrap and the Macquarie Professional Series. Due to the continued growth of our MAS business, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable and experienced Consultant to join our Practice Consulting Team.
Macquarie Practice Consulting (MPC) provides practical and customised consultancy in the areas of marketing, business planning, HR and back office. MPC was launched in April 2009 (after 3 years of comprehensive research), and therefore, this role presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to help shape and grow this new business. Reporting to the Head of this team, you will be a senior consultant to boutique financial planning firms across the country. Your primary responsibilities will be to consult to existing clients, as well as to generate new clients.
The key skills required for this role are:
- Strong experience in working with or for financial planning firms
- Experience in some or all of the following: marketing, business strategy, human resources, technology, project management
- The ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver on tight deadlines
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication and relationship building skills
- Flexible and able to cope with a fast paced environment
- Strong sales and persuasion skills
- Experience working with/consulting to SME’s (desirable)
