Leading Australian bank - Risk Manager to join their Financial institutions Team assessing Credit for non-bank Financial Institutions. Dealing with predominately fund and insurance companies along with stockbrokers you will work with a portfolio of these clients involved in analysing all levels of credit. The Role:
To support the Bank's business goal of balancing risk and reward through superior identification and analysis of risk and support of the credit process for Non Bank Financial Institutions clients.
- To assist prepare/research credit submissions.
- To research relevant industries and prepare credit risk oriented industry summaries.
- To analyse and assist with the development of "structured" finance arrangements.
- To support the maintenance of records, reporting and monitoring of credit exposures
The Candidate:
Meeting the following requirements would ensure your success in this position:
- Minimum seven years experience in corporate or investment banking roles which required a solid understanding of credit across a diverse range of industry sectors and transactions and in particular, property.
- Knowledge of financial markets risks and characteristics of risk management instruments and techniques.
- Preference would be for experience in the Non Bank Financial Institutions product segment.
- Working knowledge of Corporations Law.
- Tertiary qualifications from a recognised University or College in either an accounting or finance discipline.
