Test Analyst - Macquarie Adviser Services

Macquarie Adviser Services (MAS), a division of Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS), manages relationships with external financial intermediaries and provides sales, service and product management of in-house and external products. These products include Mortgages, Wrap, Superannuation, Cash, Managed Funds and Insurance.

Reporting to the Business Consultant in MAS, your role as a Test Analyst will provide quality assurance measures via the execution of testing methodologies to ensure that all MA project work (and wider BFS initiatives), are delivered to a consistently high standard. Your role will be hands on as you liaise and work with various stakeholders in the business as well as our Information Technology team as you manage a thorough 360 degree test execution process. You will be proactive in your risk identification and management processes with a solution focused approach, and look to develop better and more efficient processes, and methodologies as you collaborate with the multitude of talent in your team, and the greater business.

This is a true UAT Test Analyst role that requires someone with a financial services (preferably credit) background, who has a commercial outlook, is highly flexible and focused on achieving results! To be successful in your application, you will have:

a strong background as a Test Analyst;

the ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC);

a commercial and strategic approach and be able to challenge the status quo;

strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to think rationally and logically;

experience in financial services, preferably working with mortgages/credit products/business;

an understanding of testing methodologies and test deliverables;

solid experience in preparing, executing and managing test design/test cases and test data;

excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients, the business, developers, senior managers and other team members;

Strong sense of ownership, with a passion for delivering ????? ?????.

We are looking for a candidate on a contract basis, however, there is strong potential for this role to convert into a permanent position.
