Associate - Risk Strategy & Analytics

Must have statistical degree and/or SAS background

Up to $65,000 package plus bonus - junior role

This leading domestic bank require an Associate for their Risk Strategy & Analytics Team in the Business Banking Division.

This area of the bank is principally responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of risk decisioning models, the management of risk data and systems, the development and optimisation of risk management policies, processes and strategies throughout the credit lifecycle and the preparation of portfolio based risk management reporting.

This is a junior role which calls for candidates with a maximum of 3 years for their CBD-based operation.

You will require:

• Tertiary qualification in a quantitative/statistical discipline
• The ability to interpret data and identify research opportunities
• Knowledge of databases design and SAS (7.0) programming language.

• Effective communicator & good business understanding.

• Experience of decisioning models, or portfolio analysis - highly desirable
• Experience in report/MI production - highly regarded

This is a role for a quick learner with a can-do attitude who wants to work in the the risk management discipline and work in a collaborative and social team.
