St John's College is a co-educational Catholic residential
College within the University of Sydney. The Dean of Students assists the Rector and Vice-Rector in the administration and
management of the College in such a manner that a vibrant learning community is maintained.
The role involves liaising with academic faculties and the alumni and wider communities to enhance the student experience. The
individual will be immersed in the academic, cultural, sporting and spiritual dimensions of the college. The Dean of Students
will monitor academic progress, arrange tutorials, assist with career development and foster community outreach programs.
The successful applicant will possess 'a love of learning', relevant tertiary qualifications and extraordinary
communication/interpersonal skills.
