Rail Safeworking Co-ordinator

A rail Safeworking co-ordinator is required for a multi-disciplinary rail project in Sydney. Suitable applicants for these roles must have experience of coordinating safe-working for multi-disciplined rail projects within the Sydney metropolitan rail network and have extensive possession management capabilities. It is essential that the incumbent has Protection Officer Level 4 qualifications.

The Safeworking Co-ordinator will be required to:

• Coordinate and manage safeworking services within for a multi-disciplined rail project
• Coordinate safeworking staff in the delivery of protection for employees, contractors, train operations and the public
• Liaise with project staff and regional representatives to facilitate a coordinated approach to conducting work within the rail corridor

The Rail Safeworking Co-ordinator will be acccountable for Safety Performance at a project level and will ensure that safety issues do not impact on train operations within the rail corridor.
