My valued client is a large Civil Engineering ????? ????? has been around for a quarter of a century and employs around 700 people. Due to growth new roles are now available in NEWCASTLE area.

The company’s services include Bulk Earthworks; Drainage; Precast & Insitu Concrete; Design & Construction; Major Road/Freeway Works; Licensed Asbestos Removal; Road Pavement Construction.

This position is for someone who is seeking a long term career and stability in a permanent role with this established and growing organisation.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager your job is to provide site management to Civil and Mining projects in the Hunter Valley area.You are also responsible for overseeing Junior Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and Junior Project Managers.

Duties include:

-       Liaising with clients, contract superintendent, and regulatory authorities

-       Involvement in developing and submitting tenders

-       Providing overall management of Projects

-       Producing and implementing Project Plans (including OH&S and Environmental plans)

-       Providing Project budgets and establishing project record systems

-       Liaising with Site Managers about the requirements and Allocation for plant, equipment and labour

-       Negotiating costs

-       Administering ????? ?????

-       Induction and training

-       Assisting the Estimators

-       Ensuring ????? ????? & QA

Essentials:

5 to 10 years local experience in Civil Engineering

Degree in Civil Engineering

Excellent Team Player

Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills

Ability to liaise with clients

Excellent organization skills
