Long standing medium sized company in Western Sydney is growing strong and looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer for at least a 6 month term with strong possibility of extension. Role has a strong design focus on pressure vessels & previous recent relevant experience in AS1210 (or ASME) standards is essential for the role. Responsibilities will include: Project Scheduling, Design/Documentation and Ensuring proper registration to standards. Successful candidates must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Candidates need to have previous experience in all the skills listed below:
- 3D Solidworks experience
- Pressure Vessel design experience
- Design / QA Documentation experience
- Some exposure to FEA (strand or cosmos preferred)
- Project scheduling & client interaction experience
Good communication skills with a proactive mentality to learn & take on new responsibilities' quickly are needed in this role.
