Sydney Rolling Mill currently has an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated and passionate person to lead the Rolling Mill Operations team to achieve focussed customer service and lowest conversion cost through continuous improvement in plant productivity.

 

Reporting to the Manufacturing ????? ????? role is a key member of the Lead Team and is accountable for driving plant reliability, manage and control Rolling Mill operations costs and ensuring ????? ????? are in place to support and enhance productivity.

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Maximising Customer needs by maintaining Mill Programs and key product attributes
• Building capability and engaging employees
• Fostering ????? ????? of continuous improvement and developing process capability by implementing robust systems
• Focus on achieving business targets

To be successful in the role you must have:

• Safety as a core value
• Demonstrated experience in effective leadership and people management
• A track record in problem solving
• Experience in a complex manufacturing ????? ????? (min 5 years)
• Tertiary qualifications and experience with Process Improvement Tools are desirable
