Manager Environmental Development
ASX200 listed energy infrastructure business
Critical senior influencing role
Drive the link between care, compliance and commercial opportunity
In many ways APA Group is the quiet achiever in the energy sector. Unique among its peers, APA has direct management and operational control over its assets and investments. It has, without fanfare, become a key player in the energy infrastructure market. Publicly listed with a turnover of $900 million and 1100 staff, the organisation is seeking a savvy business leader to ensure compliance with current changes in environmental legislation, whilst identifying the commercial opportunities this presents.
A sustainable and ethical approach to the environment and the communities APA is part of is paramount in conducting business. You will assess the effects of the impending legislative changes, compliance processes and reporting requirements. One of the most challenging aspects of the role is to utilise environmental policy and strategy to minimise costs and look at innovative revenue opportunities.
In a very short period of time, APA has experienced strong performance and phenomenal growth, with many more great opportunities to unleash. You will be influential in guiding the business through this environmental transformation process. Your background will reflect experience in similar positions with proven results, qualifications in a related discipline and a strong understanding of legislation and public policy direction in this field.
