Our client requires several staff to work on current projects including: CBD Metro rail, D&C Waste treatment facility, BER Schools projects, 140 lot residential / golf development, 100 dwelling retirement village and other building projects requiring ????? ?????, infrastructure and environmental works.
In particular we require several contract engineers for our current projects.
Responsibilities - To manage and design of civil projects.
The position reports to the Civil Project Leader and is responsible for the design of civil and infrastructure works on allocated projects.
The role will involve:
liaison with other consultants on the project team,
technical design of civil works (roads, stormwater, erosion and sediment controls, earthworks),
monitoring ????? ????? of personal time with respect to time allocated to tasks and part of the design.
Essential Experience and qualifications
- Degree in Civil engineering ????? ?????
- Minimum 3 years experience relevant experience since graduation
- Competent in road, stormwater and earthworks design
- Competent with stormwater calc spreadsheets
- Competent with DRAINS or similar
- Experience with utility service investigations
- Project experience in land development and roadworks,
- Project experience in civil works on building projects such as warehouses, commercial, residential, school and other institutions
Desirable experience and qualifications
- 12D or similar package
- Competent with AutoCAD v2008 or later,
- Competent with MUSIC or similar
- Competency in writing reports and correspondence
- Experience in another consultancy office
Other personal qualities:
- Team player
- Able to accept direction from senior staff
- Able to organise design of project
- Attention to design detail
- Self motivated

Public transport only
Depending on the project the contract could last from 2-5 months.
