The Australian College of Educators is a unique national professional association representing educators in early
childhood, primary and secondary education, and the VET and higher education sectors. It has members from career entrants
to School Principals and Deans of Education, and covers the public and private sectors. Its diverse activities include
advocacy on behalf of the profession of educators, the operation of state and regional groups of members,
preparation and distribution of publications, and provision of professional development materials and courses.
It seeks a CEO who will provide dynamic leadership to implement its ambitious forward agenda. The successful
applicant will have a track record of success in advocacy at state or national level; demonstrated experience in the
development and implementation of policy; be aware of current issues in education and have successful experience in
management and team leadership.
