HEAD OF MIDDLE SCHOOL
Due to the appointment of the Head of Middle School to Deputy Principal at Redlands, the College is seeking an outstanding educator to fill the position of Head of Middle School from 1 January 2010.
The Head of Middle School is responsible to the Principal and works closely with the Deputy Principal, Heads of School, and other staff within the College to provide strategic and operational leadership to the Middle School.
You will have a deep interest and understanding of leadership, excellent organisational and communication skills, a high level of commitment to working collaboratively with others and a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young women.
This is a significant leadership opportunity for a dynamic, capable and innovative person with excellent teaching and management skills. A focus on pastoral care and an understanding of the needs of girls in their early adolescent years is essential.
TEACHING POSITIONS FOR 2010
Drama – Full-time permanent – ability to teach to Stage 6 required
English – Full-time temporary
History – Full-time permanent – experience teaching Modern History and Extension History is required
Geography – Full-time temporary
Prep School (K-2) – 2 full-time temporary positions
