This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to join our organisation in this newly created role. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a senior management role which will be national in scope and will involve the day to day strategic management of Hostec's Learning & Development initiatives. With direct responsibility for leading teams that service; Corporate learning & development, Online Learning, Traineeships and Short courses to the public, you will be a highly organised leader with the ability to drive commercial success.
You will play a key role in growing the capability of the broader L&D teams to delivering initiatives that drive organisational effectiveness and maximise impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Management of the RTO and stakeholder management
• Liaising with government & regulatory bodies such as: VETAB, AQTF & ACPET
• Driving new initiatives to maximise our Corporate Learning & Development and Online Learning initiatives
• Maximising yield and forecasting revenue initiatives
To be successful in this role you will need to be a commercial HR professional, with proven ability in developing and implementing learning solutions. You will be a strategic thinker who can challenge the established status quo and effectively build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will posses relevant tertiary qualifications, possess a sound knowledge of adult learning principles and be a passionate individual, ideally with strong exposure to the tourism, hospitality and retail sectors.
