Casual Part Time Collections Opportunities

The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie’s retail client base with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe. BFS provides a diverse range of retail banking and wealth management products and services to intermediaries, businesses and the end consumer.

Macquarie Consumer Lending (MCL) is a new business within the BFS division with firm ambitions to be a market leader in consumer and retail finance. The business requires a highly motivated Collections Officer to play a key role in the delivery of high credit standards and great service.

This is an exceptional opportunity for dynamic and innovative financial services professionals to join an expanding collections team

You will be responsible for both inbound & outbound calls using a predictive dialer and achieving collections targets. Building strong relationships with our clients, you will ensure all collections activity is accurately recorded and payments are processed.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate sound collections or service experience in a similar financial institution while you will also need to be familiar with the Consumer Credit Code and be able to negotiate collection of accounts in arrears up to 60 days.

You will;

have solid experience in a busy collections or service related role
display strong negotiation skills with proven ability to remain calm under pressure
demonstrate understanding of the Consumer Credit Code
exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills

This is a casual part time opportunity with the following shifts available Monday to Saturday including;

8:00am – 12:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 – 1:00pm Saturday,
4:00pm - 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 – 1:00pm Saturday.
