An upper second tier development & construction company with operations in Sydney & New Zealand are seeking to secure the services of an experienced BDM in the construction arena for their Sydney office.

 The ideal candidate will have come from a commercial construction background and have moved into business development with a second or top tier company. You will already have the contacts in the industry and be able to utilise these contacts to find projects in the early planning stage and to deliver them to the estimating team. Then along with the senior management and the chief estimator present the final bids to the clients.

 

This is a fairly autonomous role and would see you out of the office most of the day entertaining clients, attending trade shows and industry functions to source information on future projects.
