Civil Designers – Land development & Roads
Our client has secured significant projects in the urban development and the RTA roads to which they are seeking suitably qualified personnel to progress in key positions within their organisation.
Two roles are on offer:
1/ Chief Civil designer
2/ Senior Civil designer.
This would be great opportunity for a working team to move into a more strategic position within the market.
Candidates will have completed the civil engineering diploma course (or approved equivalent), possess excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with an aptitude for computing and design.
As a design draftsman the candidate must have a practical knowledge of:
a) The methods and techniques of civil engineering.
b) The design principals involved in road construction including intersections and roundabouts.
c) The design principals involved in grading and drainage for both subdivision and site works.
d) The design principals associated with stormwater drainage.
e) A sound understanding of the RTA guidelines.
Candidates must have a proven ability to work both independently as well as part of a team in the production of accurate and detailed work.
Experience is essential and we require candidates to have a minimum of 8+ years in the local consulting environment with an understanding and proficiency in the use of Autocad, Civil 3D, 12D, Autoturn and Drains.
