Executive Resources Alliance have been engaged by 3 top tier international contractors to source staff for major Coal, Oil and Gas projects in Nth Qld, WA and Sth East Asia – these projects have Contract values ranging from $50m AUD to an astonishing $6b AUD, and staff willing to participate in FIFO roles can take full advantage of the benefits of working for forward thinking companies who attract and retain the best staff in the industry. If FIFO isn’t of interest we also have office based roles.
Staff turnover in all 3 Contractors is very low compared to Industry standards due to the emphasis placed on Safety, Training and Development of employees to their fullest potential.The projects that they have either underway or about to start are both groundbreaking and unique, and candidates employed for these roles will continue to develop personally as a result of being employed on these projects.
The team seeks a Senior Project Safety Manager with 10-15 years experience in large civil infrastructure projects. Excellent knowledge of Australian construction safety standards, experience in managing large teams and the ability of the applicant to work, together with their team, in conjunction with the construction team in an advisory capacity, mitigation of risk from a safety perspective and on-going development and maintenance of the Safety Management Plan are crucial elements of this role. Engineering Qualifications preferred and Safety Qualifications essential.
- Projects Controls Manager
Required ASAP – responsible for the programming, financial risk analysis, estimating/cost planning, quality and document control functions of the project, ensuring systems are created, defined and implemented effectively and efficiently so as to support all facets of construction and engineering. Tertiary qualifications in construction and/or quantity surveying essential.
- Design Managers (tunnelling, surface works and urban design)/Design Coordinators
Experienced Design professionals needed to assess and manage the design aspects of the project, particularly managing the interface between design and production. Infrastructure design experience vital and we would consider contractor or consultancy applicants
- Cost Planners (Senior and Civil)
Required to assess the costs of construction and support activities, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis of all cost issues – Tertiary Construction qualifications and experience imperative
- Production/Construction Engineers
- Site Engineers (1-3 years experience) for site mobilisation/establishment, planning, approvals, costing, quality assessments and associated activities as required
- Project Engineers (3-9 years experience) for management of Junior and Site Engineers, Foremen and associated production staff, financial reporting, assessing constructability, etc
Required to carry out and manage the contracting and procurement strategies and policies for all procurement across the project. Other duties include management of Subcontractors and Suppliers through to project completion including general administration and variation management, and the management and mitigation of risk.
