ACE AfterCare Campbelltown Temporary full time position until April 2010
This position provides Leaving Care/AfterCare support to resource young people who are leaving care or who have left out of home care, to make the transition to independence or reintegration into their communities. This position will manage a caseload of young people who have formerly been in out of home care and who have no meaningful links with their care provider.
Applicants will require:
- Demonstrated ability to resource young people within their own family/community contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes as a result of collaborative work practices with marginalised or homeless young people, their families and communities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience
