Records Officer – Canberra Based

    Our Records Management Directorate ensures the vital flow of documents, and their proper storage within ASIO, is as smooth as possible. As a Records Officer you will establish and maintain accurate records and information flows in a particularly unique setting.
     
    As a self-starter you like to take ownership of your work. You pride yourself on your ability to be discreet. Your high level of focus ensures you produce accurate work. Tasks will vary from creating, retrieving and moving files to referencing and distributing paper and electronic correspondence. Your logical thinking will be used to determine the proper location for information and thereby ensure it can be retrieved. Satisfaction will be gained from supporting the organisation with an outstanding records management service.
     
    Your clients will rely on your communication and interpersonal skills to keep them informed and aware of proper record keeping policies. Interchangeable skills and a willingness to help others will see you fit right into the team. A relevant degree or work experience is desirable but not essential.
     
    Use your eye for detail in a role where your knowledge will be valued, opportunities for development are realistic and you can pursue a rewarding career.
