Working with one of the international Accounting firms this is a newly created position within the Corporate Taxation Division.  Responsible for the supervision of a small team this role will provide taxation advice and compliance to a varied client base.  The position is based in Sydney and the responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited too:
 
 

• Preparation of income tax returns, business activity statements, fringe benefit returns
• Manage the taxation affairs of large clients, including managing internal teams
• Corporation Tax advice
• Facilitate Taxation Planning for listed Client base
• Set budgets and prepare billing
• Meeting with companies in relation to international tax issues
• Conducting pre-departure and post arrival consultations both nationally and internationally with executives in relation to Australian tax implications and other issues to be aware of as a result of an International assignment
• Preparing ????? ????? letters for taxation issues pertaining to termination payments, superannuation, workers compensation, fringe benefits tax, payroll tax, employee share schemes and share option schemes
• Manage a small team and review their work
• Conduct training sessions
• Research various accounting, taxation and corporation issues

 
This positioned requires an experienced accountant with several years taxation accounting experience gained with a mid - top tier accounting firm.  The ideal candidate will have completed or will be close to completing the CA or Master of Taxation.  You will have a real passion for taxation and fastidious about researching its changing policies and procedures.  A natural flair for people management will help you to rise to very top in this firm.
