Leading commercial business seek to appoint 2 internal auditors within their group assurance team. The roles sit within the investment banking arm therefore the chosen candidates must have an appreciation of financial products such as FX, money markets, interest rate derivatives, equities, credit etc...

This role is well suited to a candidate either leaving the profession with a financial services client base or a product controller looking to further a career within internal audit.

Major accountabilities:

• Independently plan and execute internal audits
• Conduct team briefings setting out expectations for the audit
• Monitor progress of team members
• Accurately assess audit issues and the reporting of
• Issue draft audit report for review
• Complete assignment reviews on audit team members
• Develop strong working relationships with the business Heads and their teams
• Providing input into resource planning and budgets

Candidate

• Qualified accountant
• Exposure to financial markets as discussed
• Strong communications skills - both written and verbal
