Our client is embarking on a path of corporate renewal and managerial revitalisation. Key to this strategy is the appointment of a seasoned, commercially savvy General Manager Finance, capable of becoming a true business partner to the senior management team.
The prime focus of this role is to drive transformational change via business process improvement and implementation of best practice reporting and decision support systems. Accordingly, prospective candidates will need to demonstrate a proven background in executing change and proactively engaging with the business with a view to achieving enhanced commercial outcomes, maximising cash flow and working capital management.
Apart from high level technical accounting competence, candidates for this role must be able to refer to demonstrable achievements in capital asset management; Capex control; evaluating and managing all forms of risk; commercial & contractual negotiations; with specific industry experience gained in margin sensitive industrial services and allied industries.
Other attributes sought include a collegiate management style, ability to mentor and develop a team of finance professionals, decisive leadership, integrity and trust. High Level communication skills and a “hands on” approach are essential.
