The investment banking arm of a leading global organisation seek to appoint a talented qualified accountant with strong product control knowledge. Reporting into the divisional "head of" the successful candidate must bring ????? ????? technical knowledge base to the table in addition to strong communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the flow equity derivatives book (which includes predominantly vanilla equity derivatives and stock hedges). The role will require the candidate to:

• Produce and validate the daily P&L
• Provide P&L attribution, P&L explain and commentary
• Manage the month end close including P&L, balance sheet validation & Capital charges
• Ensure Accounting policy and disclosure is correctly applied
• Identify and resolve issues and ensure that the balances reported are correct, fully understood and justified
• Meet reporting deadlines and prioritise work
• Develop and enhance business understanding through close liaison with the Business, Regional Controllers, Accounting Policy, Operations and Trade Support

Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant
• Previous product control, ideally in equity derivatives
• Strong communication style
• Inquisitive mind
• Team player
