CBD-based role in Tier 1 Australian Bank

Senior Manager position up to $120k plus super

Work on complex major accounts

This Tier 1 Australian Bank is looking to expand the team responsible for managing the distressed loan portfolio.

A senior vacancy has arisen for a restructuring/turnaround specialist with extensive experience of working on high value structured lending facilities that have experienced financial pressure.

A typical day will see you liaising with solicitors, accountants, insolvency practitioners etc. as well as key internal stakeholders within the Bank. You will be given responsibility over complex files and be expected to formulate and recommend remedial strategies designed to provide a mutually successful outcome. Strong influencing and negotiation skills are a key component to this role as are proven decision making abilities.

You will be acknowledged by your peers as a forward thinking, decisive individual who is able to adopt a 360 degree approach, as this role will utilise all of your credit risk and relationship management skills.

Your background will be from another Bank or top tier chartered/insolvency/consultancy firm and you will be looking to apply your extensive experience on a larger platform.

Your CA/CPA (or overseas equivalent) qualifications and proven, demonstrable experience in corporate restructuring ????? ????? situations are essential for this role. Membership of the IPA would be highly regarded.
