To achieve this objective it is essential that prospective candidates have deep and current experience in a complex industrial environment and have conducted operational audits which have:
 

• Improved efficiency of operations and processes;  
  
• Delivered cost savings;  
  
• Facilitated strategy execution.  
  

  

Critical to achieving the above outcomes will be the desired "soft skills" encompassing:   

  

• Broad business/commercial experience preferably gained outside of the internal audit function;  
  
• Leadership and vision with the capability of mentoring ????? ????? subordinates;  
  
• Independence of mind, courage, integrity, emotional intelligence;  
  
• Influencing and communication skills;
