Consumer Collections Account Manager, Sydney

The successful applicant will:
  • Build and manage strong customer relationships with businesses;
  • Work with a 'blue chip' client base in providing advice on credit management;
  • Liaise with collectors to facilitate the successful collections of overdue accounts;
  • Focus strongly on analysis & maximizing account profitability and revenue.

Working in a challenging and varied role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • The ability to professionally handle receivable management issues whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service;
  • Proven and effective communication and negotiation skills developed through dealing with a range of internal and external customers and suppliers;
  • Strong analysis skills, ability to identify trends and generate solutions;
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade others in order to achieve your goals;
  • A strong work ethic, with a proven desire to succeed, achieving and exceeding targets;
  • Excellent PC (Excel) skills.

A sound working knowledge of the credit & collections management processes and a Business or Finance qualification would be highly regarded, as would specific experience in asset finance and/or insurance. Whilst not essential, the role may suit someone with a background in consumer debt collections, looking to take the next step in their career.

This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for your own workload and direct your own outcomes. Whilst you will be working closely with a team to achieve results you will be primarily responsible for driving the success of your accounts.
