General Manager - Electrical Retail

A key position responsible for driving the business forward within business development, management, purchasing and strategic development. Reporting directly to the CEO you will take responsibility for the online retail business and the retail stores.

This is an exciting position for someone looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be passionate about the business, bring ????? ????? driving the online retail business forward and have a hunger to succeed.

Key responsibilities and requirements include:
Two direct and 7 indirect reports including Purchasing, Merchandising and IT
You will have key relationships with the CEO, CFO, Suppliers and the Buying Group
Previous experience within purchasing essential ideally within electronics and appliances
Have similar retail management experience
Experience managing import programs ideal
Online retail experience an advantage
High level negotiation skills required
Superior leadership skills and commercial acumen essential
Set and manage pricing strategy
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans which identify; target markets, product direction, revenue and profit goals
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, customer acquisition opportunities, product selection trends

Electrical Buying Experience Required
