French Connection are an established and leading retail brand in Australia, and this is an exciting time to be part of the team; with many new stores opening now and in the coming months, along with the many career opportunities such as the current Area Manager role we are recruiting for in NSW
Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager, the position will support the State Sales Manager in running the business, contributing effectively to the future of the brand, through focus on learning and development, mentoring ????? ????? planning strategies
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Accountability of Sales, Wages and Shrinkage for stores
- Motivating and leading Managers and Sales Team Members to achieve budgets
- Recruit and oversee the recruitment of high caliber retail managers and staff
- Ensure learning, development and succession plans are in place and implemented
- Ensure stores maintain effective stock management practices to minimize loss and maximise sales
- Liaise with Buying and Visual Merchandising Departments regarding relevant issues and requirements
To take up this exciting and challenging role, you will possess strong leadership and results driven traits, be highly motivated and have strong people management skills.
A strong retail management background including multi-site management, in conjunction with your ability to implement change will enable you to drive this profitable business to its next level.
