This well established, locally owned business manufactures, imports and distributes throughout ANZ. They are currently looking for an analytically minded Demand Planner to join their customer focused team.
 
You will be immediately responsible for managing the Demand Planning process to anticipate stock requirements and help achieve and maintain inventory costs and profitability, ensure adequate stock of products and components to achieve target Fill Rates. You will manage inventory levels and get involved in negotiations with vendors in relation to trading terms, purchase price of products for Purchase Orders and delivery.
 
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:-

• Demand Planning experience ideally from a high volume, wholesale environment
• Practical experience in procurement, stock control, inventory planning and forecasting
• Above average negotiation skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of international freight forwarding
• Knowledge of Inventory systems and planning tools
• Computer skills with advanced MS Office
• Analytically/ Solution minded with advanced Excel skills
• APICS certificate desirable.
