Sydney based, my client is a leading provider of solutions to the Water / Waste Water Treatment needs of State and Local government. They have recently secured several large projects commencing 2010 and have a need for additional staff in their Engineering ????? ?????, Tendering ????? ????? office.

This office provides support the rest of the group and is highly regarded for it’s Technical ability during ????? ????? interest, proposal and tendering ????? ????? new and existing projects and beyond.

 

Ideally you will have had experience in the following:

 

• Undertake the development of proposals under the management of the Proposals Manager.
• On a project by project basis – be able to develop an understanding of the specifics of each request for “expression of interest” and tender, provide technical input into the design and undertake the development of the proposal and financial models.
• Develop technical documentation as required.
• Maintain an ongoing and current understanding of all aspects of water treatment and reuse.
• Ensure quotations received from suppliers of equipment for minor capital works are within budget prior to purchase requisition.
• Develop budget for the delivery of works or services and report against that budget.
• Source quotes from the appropriate suppliers and vendors for input into the proposal and financial models.
• Liaise with existing clients to achieve a high level of communication and confidence.
• Develop relationships new clients.
• Develop technical specifications and briefs for the delivery of equipment and/or services.
• Manage contractors and suppliers of works and services and ensure delivery is within budget and contract period.

Formal Education Bachelor of Engineering ????? ????? equivalent.

Mechanical Engineering ????? ????? Science Degree or equivalent an advantage.

Experience

•  At least 7 years’ experience in the, design, documentation, construction, installation and commissioning of water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
