Civil / Structural Engineer
Work for a leading Global organisation in the Power division. The company believe in working to the highest standards whilst looking after their employees at the same time.
You will have a relevant tertiary degree in Civil Structural Engineering with approximately ten years experience in Civil Structural building design within power, water and or heavy industrial related engineering sectors. The main focus of this group being civil structural detailed design of power stations within Australia and overseas, as well as a variety of medium to large transmission and distribution projects.
This role will involve a high level of interaction with stakeholders across all areas of the business as well as managing a design team, project dependant. It is therefore essential you are a strong communicator and confident with producing detailed designs, project reports, project management, client liaison and the mentoring/leading of a design team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertake civil and structural design for multi disciplinary civil infrastructure projects.
- Preparation of documentation for tenders
- Manage and report on tender submissions
- Maintenance and development of client relationships
- To succeed in this role you will have strong technical, analytical and communication skills combined with a keen commercial awareness and the ability to develop.
- You must currently be working for a reputable design firm in Australia.
