Regional Environment and Community Coordinator

    To support this key strategy we seek a Region Environment and Community Coordinator for our NSW region, 3 days per week. Your core focus will be the delivery of SKMs internal sustainability program (Environment and Community) within the NSW region. You will regularly communicate and consult with our managers and assist our project teams to translate E&C principles into their daily work. You will also be responsible for the delivery in NSW of programs targeted at our commitment to reduce company-wide carbon emissions by 30 per cent per capita, embed sustainability principles into procurement and green our buildings and transport.

    You will also be responsible for delivering ????? ????? and Community compliance program. This requires assisting project teams to identify E&C risk, investigating E&C incidents, undertaking audit programs, delivering ????? ?????&C specific training and reporting and monitoring ????? ????? to E&C legislation. You will collate, analyse and report environmental data for the NSW Region (e.g. greenhouse gas abatement and incident data).

    This is a challenging role and will require working with a diverse group of professionals . For success, you must be proactive and influential and be able to negotiate full commitment to the programs.

    You may come from an environmental engineering, science or planning background with proven experience within an E&C compliance role. You will have strong people skills and have demonstrable experience in creating change. You will be able to process and analyse raw data and have proven experience auditing projects (particularly in 14001). You are self starter, who can manage your own time and independently deliver outcomes. You have a passion for sustainability.
