If you are looking for a move out of the Consulting field, or are currently with a Contractor, but looking for a more challenging role, this could be the opportunity for you.  As a result of significant project wins, this very successful mid-tier civil contractor has created a new role for an experienced Civil Design Engineer.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of Civil Infrastructure projects across the transportation, resources and industrial sectors.  In this role, you will be responsible for: -

• Structural design, analysis and support of concrete and steel structures.
• Interpreting technical requirements and providing cost effective and innovative solutions to structural problems.
• Preparing ????? ?????+C proposals.
• Cost control associated with design activities
• Overseeing sub-contractors design

The successful applicant will be degree qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.  Experience within a consultant and/or civil contractor is essential as is a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.  Registration as a Professional Engineer will be highly regarded.
