About the Roles: Our client is seeking a Piling Design Engineer to get involved in some of Australia’s most prestigious projects as well as a lot of smaller projects. The Piling Design Engineer role will entail liaising with client and project teams to verify specifications and ensure potential designs are viable to be constructed on site, designing of various types of piling techniques, design changes, keeping accurate records and ensuring ????? ????? is readily accessible for the project teams. The designs will also have to take into account the best site practice and financial implications to the project cost.

 

About the Requirements:Our client is seeking a Design Engineer to work out of their Sydney office. You will require a degree qualification in a construction or civils field. The ideal candidate will have worked within the geotechnical sector and will have a solid understanding of various piling techniques including bored piles, secant piles, CFA piling, sheet piling and diaphragm walls. Communication, computer and written skills need to be strong. Excellent computer skills, especially with design software is essential, although the company can provide specific training on their in house software.
