Job Description
The Financial Controller will form a key part of the Senior Management Team. The primary objective for the Financial Controller will be the provision of a professional service to all internal and external stakeholders by working closely with and as a support to the CFO. Ultimately, the CFO will be responsible for the smooth running of the day to day Finance team while also being focused on the staff development and process improvement.
In addition the Financial Controller will be responsible for:
- monthly management and board reporting
- statutory and regulatory reporting
- management of the annual statutory audit
- CAPEX and asset management
- management of the transactional team
- implementation of new internal controls/systems
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified and be a motivated self-started. With superior communication skills the Financial Controller should be able to demonstrate previous experience of influencing senior executives whilst concurrently running large teams. The successful candidate will ideally have worked within an ASX listed business and be able to effectively partner with a strategic CFO.
