Climate Change Specialist

Our client is an independent organisation and operates with a number of philanthropic aims. One of these amis includes the protection the environment.

Due to a high demand for their services their Climate Change team seeks a talented and experienced individual to join them in Sydney.

This role will see the successful applicant have the opportunity to undertake work in the following areas;

GHG quantification

GHG auditing for company inventories or project emission reductions

GHG technologies

Training and advisory services for GHG inventories

Energy Audits

CDM and/or JI project validation and verification

Our client is offering a truly unique opportunity. This role involves interaction with all the key industry climate change players. Thus, the incumbent will have a "helicopter view" of the latest industry developments in Australia and throughout the world.

This position calls for a minimum of 2 years work experience in auditing or experience within the carbon management, energy or forestry sectors.

This role will offer a suitably qualified junior or senior level professional to enjoy an outstanding and structured training program. Full training with respect to CDM/JI projects will also be provided where appropriate.

As this is a role with an International company working on climate change and CDM projects throughout the world, international travel will be an integral part of this role.
