Reporting to the Director, Corporate Affairs, the main purpose of the position will be to provide and manage resources for statistical support for reimbursement submissions.
The incumbent will interact with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, health economists and medical operations staff to design and conduct complex research protocols in a late phase research environment. Emphasis will be placed on the support of reimbursement along with the preparation of reimbursement dossiers.
Experience in the design and analysis of clinical trials, observational studies, and the analysis of secondary data sources are required.
The successful candidate will possess :
strong data analytic skills and the ability to research and apply innovate statistical methodology to both exploratory and confirmatory data analyses.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills combined with a high level of Emotional Intelligence.
The ability to interpret results both in writing and orally to technical and non-technical audiences.
To be considered you must hold MS/ MSc/ MPH or PhD equivalent in Biostatistics or other subjects with high statistical content.
You will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 6-8 years relevant career experience with a focus on the Pharmaceutical industry, possess experience in HTA and developing submissions for PBAC (or NICE for UK based applicants).
This position is based in Sydney. Interstate relocation within Australia is invited. For international applicants, work sponsorship will be provided for the successful candidate.
A generous salary package will be offered commensurate with the experience of the candidate and will include a base salary, car / car allowance, superannuation, bonus, share options and other employee benefits.
