Sales Engineer - Rail Rolling Stock

The Company

My client has over fifty years experience in the global rail industry this company specializes in rail signaling, electronics, and communications, and rolling stock has made them an industry expert and relied upon for quality and assurance. Having built their reputation on quality and delivery of their services they takes pride in employee retention, customer service and growth. Due to continue growth they seek a Sales Engineer work with in their rolling stock department.
 

The Role

• Grow and develop the Rail and Transportation Industries.
• Deliver agreed profit and sales objectives.
• Manage Existing accounts.
• Develop and implement business strategies to target new markets and maintain market share.
• Facilitating innovative service model design.
• Managing risk and negotiating commercial terms.
• Consulting at senior management level.

The Person

To be considered for this opportunity the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in Sales specialising in Rail Rolling Stock. To be successful in this role you should have:-

• Proven industrial sales experience with a strong rolling stock background.
• Be a results achiever with a strong work ethic.
• Have excellent networking and promotional skills.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Have extensive Rolling stock experience, ideally with a service and repair background
• Electrical or mechanical Engineering diploma or Trade certificates would be desirable. 
• Knowledge and experience in commissioning locomotives, including fault finding, reliability analysis, routine test execution.
