Right now, we are looking for a senior Event Manager, Show Director or BDM to take hold of a Show portfolio for 2010 within the IT, technical and home education sector. We have a number of Innovative, creative and dynamic shows ready to launch for next year and we need you to Manage this roll out. You will have full P+L responsibility, including exhibitors / Sponsorship/ ticketing / marketing/ venue / stakeholder management and more. You will have at least one other sales person, an Ops manager and other resources at your disposal.
In a nutshell, there are certain things we are looking for:
1. Proven sales ability, within the events or exhibitions sector, but also perhaps in Advertising, media, promotions, government, trade shows, MICE, hotels or food + bev and more...
2. A real passion for what you do - are you a real believer in your ability and that of your team? are you dedicated to your particular exhibition. Willing to go that extra mile?
3. Honest, stable, reliable, with creative flair, entrepreneurial ability, dynamism and a positive attitude.
That's pretty much it. If you have experience in ANY of the following industry sectors we would be especially keen to hear from you. Sports, Leisure, Lifestyle, Food + Bev, IT, Telco, Home improvements, early childhood, government and travel, automotive and fashion.
roles will include base salary between $70- 100k on the base + super + phone + travel allowance + bonus structures. This is a fast paced, dedicated, passionate, driven and creative environment - these guys kick butt and take names!
